I am still alive.
I am in Slovakia on a business trip where they are (trying to) train me for my future job. I am going to stay until next week and I think that my head will explode by then. Too much info.
ITB feels little weird. It was ok until yesterday afternoon. I think that it is shoes-related. I need to be very careful about what I wear!!! Unfortunately, I do not have anything else with me here but I should not be walking as much as I was walking on Monday so hopefully ITB calms down.
I have all my swimming and running gear here but I cannot do anything really. I do nto want to run now and I have a cold and I do not think that it would be stupid to go swimming if I can hardly breath because I am hoping to have it cleared by Friday. Btw, have you tried flying while having a cold? Not fun, my poor ears.
I was thinking about takign the bike with me (my tri bike of course that is at my parents' house. Not the bike from Hannover) but since I spend dusk to dawn (or dawn to dusk, I do not know which one is which) I would not have time to bike. But I saw quite a few bikers in the area so it is probably good for biking.
I have not much to do (except for the fact that I am defending the thesis in 2 weeks and should prepare the presentation) in my free time now so I went to get a massage in my hotel's welness center. It felt great. The masseur asked me whether I was lifting weights right before I came there. Of course I was not. Hm, it just shows how tight all my muscles are.
I was hoping to get in some good training with CH's team but weather is supposed to be horrible so I do not know how it is going to work out.
